My wonderful wife, Wendy, was born in London on July 8th, 1943, and died on March 2nd, 2015. The last few weeks of her life were spent at Sue Ryder's St. John's Hospice, Moggerhanger, near Bedford, where the devotion and care that she received were second to none. I knew Wendy for only twelve years but those twelve years were among the happiest of my life. She was kindness personified; in fact during those few years I can honestly say that I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. That phrase has almost become a cliché but in Wendy's case it is true, she saw only the best in people. She will be greatly missed, not only by me but by everyone who knew her, especially her two sons, Craig and Gary.
When it came to music Wendy was a great fan of Roy Orbison and her favourite track was his 'California Blue'. In fact whenever we went to a music venue where the band or d.j. knew Orbison songs she would ask for this song to be played. I have therefore included it in the Music Gallery of this tribute.
Wendy was also a lover of all things Abba so I have included one of their songs too.
